How to Use Waypoints

Privately save special locations on waterbodies or share them with other Paddleways users.

With the Waypoints feature, you are able to customize your map by adding an icon on the water. These locations can be private to your account or placed on the public map for all Paddleways users.

1. After opening the app, search for the body of water you are looking to fish. Add your very own Waypoint by tapping the (+) icon in the lower right corner of your screen to open the map tool expander, then tapping on "Add a Waypoint". You can also 'long tap' anywhere on the map if you'd like to choose a precise location first.

2. Now you are able to personalize your spot on the map. You can name your waypoint, make it public, choose an icon and color, add photos, and jot down notes that you don't want to forget.

3. To view a list of your waypoints, tap on the "You" tab, then scroll down to "Saved" and tap on "Waypoints":
